Service Description

Get messy and creative in this 3 hour hands-on workshop all about the magical world of liquid latex. From mould making to mask creation, you’ll learn the foundations of working with latex to create textured, flexible, and wearable designs. Whether you're into prosthetics, costume making, or material experimentation, this workshop has something for you! What to Expect: Led by Daniele, this session covers the core techniques of latex use in creative practices. You’ll get your hands dirty (literally), explore various applications, and leave with a few weird and wonderful creations of your own. All materials included. No experience needed! What You’ll Learn: We’ll kick things off with some demos and explanations, then you’ll jump into making: Introduction to Liquid Latex: Properties, safety, and creative uses Mould-Making: How to create forms for casting latex Priming & Painting: Learn how to finish latex pieces with colour and character Texturing Techniques: Experiment with creating tactile surfaces and effects Fabric Creation: Explore how latex can be used to form flexible, wearable textiles Mask & Prosthetic Making: Make a simple mask or prosthetic using what you've learned You’ll Build: Your own latex based pieces this could be a mask, a texture sample board, or even wearable elements, depending on what sparks your interest during the session. Important Note: This workshop is not suitable for people with latex or rubber allergies.
